We are very excited to offer potential vendors the opportunity to become a part of our business building process. We have successfully developed and worked with over 50 Artist/Vendors in the past 5 years to give them the credibility of having a retail store front to sell their designs and merchandise outside of trade, trunk or home show type environments. Our goal is to take women in our community past crafter to retailer and move them up and out into the retail world. We are merely a short term incubator of growth for these ladies as they maneuver through their search for their retail careers and to help them meet their business goals. We affectingly call them "Mompreneurs" which comes directly from eWomenNetwork out of our early years in searching for our fit in retail sales. As time has taken us in many directions of growth we are now moving to our next level and will be interviewing a select few to join our group. Our requirements have changed over the years to include a minimum sales figure per month and a decreasing percent of sales as sales graduate. Each vendor is required to work 20 hours per month which includes one full Saturday per month and three half days per month. 10-2 p.m., 11-3 p.m. or 2-6 p.m. as part of your commitment to your business growth. We are truly seeking business women that have a vision to grow and be an integral part of our store. Our goal is to give each vendor the opportunity to specialize in an area of the store, i.e., home decor, paper products, jewelry design, clothing design and overall Extravagant Necessities is viewed as a gift store with a custom feel. We are committed to customer service and a true boutique design. We believe that we are more than stuff, but build relationships with our customers to give them the bests product possible for their personal use or gift giving.
