My husband and I have been married 27 years. He is a Priest in the Reformed Episcopal Church and was recently named Canon to the Bishop in 'February. We have a parish in Pearland, Texas with  about 160 members. We are currently in the process of planning a private school to be opened either in 2002 or 2003. We have the land but not the money to build the school.  I have been a legal secretary for more than fifteen years. I am currently working for a small firm (nine attorneys) in the Galleria area of Houston.  Because of a secretarial shortage, I am now working for all of them. We do corporate, estate planning and real estate.  Heather, my oldest, is a senior and attending the University of Houston. She is majoring in education and would like to coach and teach history. Anna. Mane is a senior in high school. She will attend the University of Houston this fall.  Anna Marie is a Scottish dancer in her school's Scottish Arts program. During the last several years, Anna and I traveled quite a bit- so that she could compete in various Scottish festivals held across the country. Since my kids are now old enough to be on their own, I have started to travel with my husband when he has meetings outside of Houston to attend.

I am married to Gayle (10 years) and we have two children, Helene (7) and Cristina (5). For many years I was working in the medical field in Dallas, as Registered Respiratory Therapist. I worked at the various hospitals including Baylor, Presbyterian, and Children's Medical Center working in the newborn intensive care area. I als  did clinical instruction for respiratory care students with El Centro College.  We moved to Austin, Texas in 1991. My wife (an engineer) had a great job opportunity with Dell Computers in Austin and I went to work at Seton Medical Center. For a long time I really missed the Dallas area, but we bought a house in Round Rock and the area finally feels like home. In 1995 I decided to change careers and also work in the computer field (at Dell) doing technical support by email. My wife decided to leave Dell last year and is now a technical writer. At present I have attained MCSE certification (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) for providing computer network support. After six years with Dell I decided to leave before layoffs started and spend time with our children for the summer and I will be looking for new job opportunities for the future. I really love the website!  Thank you for all the time and effort I am sure went into it.  I am Aleatha Booker Hall, sometimes known as Liz in high school.  I went to TWU following graduation and completed my BSN in 1975.  I stayed in Denton for a year and worked at Flow Memorial Hospital in Denton as Assistant Head Nurse in ICU.  I then moved down to Houston and worked in the Houston Medical Center.  Among other fine physicians, I got to work with Debakey and Cooley's teams as they pioneered the coronary artery bypass graft surgery. I married and moved to Denver.  The marriage only lasted 4 years.  I remained in Denver another 6 years working at St. Anthony's Central Hospitals CCU.  I returned to Dallas.  I met my now husband.  His jobs took us to Houston, Columbus, OH, and now the past 12 years we have been in the Seattle area.  We struggled with infertility.  We now have a bright beautiful 6 1/2 year old daughter.  When I graduated from Carter, my wish was to become a Dr.  In an effort to take pre-med courses in college, I ran up against a serious prejudice against women being considered for admission into medical school.  I changed my major to nursing.  I wish I had not taken the easy road out.  I have since met women my age that did in fact become Drs.  I am looking forward to attending the reunion.

Hey! I loved the web site!   I am planning on coming I just missed the cut off for the early bird price. Oh well, getting assignments done early never was my forte. I sure appreciate all the work being done by everybody on the upcoming event. I think it is really going to be special being in Oak Cliff and especially at the Country Club.  I'm still living in Gatesville, TX., married with three children , a daughter in law and a granddaughter of almost one year old.  I'm currently working as the business manager at Coleman Autoplex which is a Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Olds (at least for a little longer), and Buick dealership. I still play music on occasions, as a matter of fact I will be joining another Carter Alumni Jimmy Wallace "72" this weekend to play at the Hard Rock Cafe as part of the Greater Southwest Guitar Show.   I'm looking forward to seeing everybody.

I'm grateful to be back in Big D after a 22-year absence!  After high school I attended UT-Arlington for one year.  I went to work for ARCO in Dallas and eventually moved with the company to its East and West Texas offices and later had the opportunity to spend four wonderful years in Alaska.  I gave VIP tours of the North Slope operations to Senators, Congressmen, and executives of other co-owner companies via the company Lear Jet that was at my disposal.  After promoting as far up the ladder as I could go without a college degree, I finally went back to school and received by BBA-Finance from UA-Anchorage at the age of 30.  I immediately went into a Master's program in Real Estate and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1986.  I lived in Wisconsin for the next fourteen years  working in commercial real estate in finance and running my own development company that produced affordable multifamily housing.  In April of 2000, I was offered a job with FannieMae in Dallas as an Account Executive in its Multifamily group.  My territory covers ten states and I travel frequently which I love.  Life has been full of adventures as I have traveled to Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii and the great extended tour of Alaska.  My fondest memory of Alaska was convincing a yearling brown bear cub that he did not really want my salmon for his dinner.  I am an avid outdoors woman who loves to hunt, fish, hike, boat and bike.  I recently took up fly fishing and am already hooked!

I am currently married to David Borre who works for United Airlines and is based out of Denver International Airport.  I have three daughters from previous marriages, Adrian, 24, Alison, 17, and Arica, 12.  Adrian graduated from college in 2000 with a BA degree in Journalism, lives in University Park, and works as an Associate Producer for FoxSports Net.  She is single but dates a gentleman who lives in Portland, Oregon.  Alison is currently a junior at Arlington Lamar and was a varsity cheerleader this year and will be one next year as well.  Arica is in 6th grade and has been involved in basketball and softball.  She is currently the starting pitcher for her softball team.  I got an Associate Degree in Health Occupations in 1974 and was able to finish my Bachelors Degree in Chemistry at The University of Texas at Dallas in 1986.  I helped start the Sales and Marketing Department of a biotech company in 1989, Amgen.  Because of the success of the company, now selling 3 billion of product and going from 37 people to 1500 people, I was able to retire in August, 2000, drawing a salary from the profits of incentive stock options given to me during the early years.  We live on lakefront property on Lake Arlington and enjoy following the Dallas Stars, the PGA, and playing trivia at sports bars.  Because of our airline benefits, we travel quite a lot and will going to Greece in July.  I have continued my interest in music by directing a 50-60 member youth choir for 9 years and have acquired a grand piano which I play as much  as time allows.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone in June.

Hi, I'm one of those who won't be able to attend but I do want to say "hi!" to all of you.  I left after my junior year at Carter to move to Memphis with m y family, but it still would be great to be there.  I got out the year book for 1970 and I realize I didn't know a lot of you. That was such a strange time and I wasn't exactly a student that participated in a lot of activities. We all have gone our many ways and this is mine.  The summer after graduation a few friends and I piled into my super beetle and drove back to Dallas for a few weeks in the summer.  We hung around Lee Park and Red Bird Park and generally made a nuisance of ourselves. Then came the Navy (Europe and Med.) and tech school and Christianity and marriage and moving to Knoxville...   the Univ. of Tenn. ... which is where I work now in a job I love. A view of the mountains and all the powerful computers I could ever want to play with. A wonderful wife of 23 years and a son that just graduated from high school and another in the 6th grade. ( We home school them. :) )   My wife and I were talking about where we would live if we wanted to feel more like it was home. Here in Knoxville is the longest either of us have been in one place and we like it but I think that the Dallas area would definitely be one.  The mountains are nice but it would be great to see the whole sky again.   Now everyone has thought about what they would do different if they could go back and the only thing I would really like to do is get to know more of you.  Well, that and invest in a certain few stocks...*smile*  Have a blast and care for each other!

Hello, It's been a long time. Just looking at the photos brings back a lot of memories. It's sad to think we've lost a few of our classmates...I've been living in Phoenix Arizona since1986. I work at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. I'm a Health Physicist for them. It's kind of like being the proverbial canary in the mine, I evaluate the conditions in different areas of the plant and determine whether it's OK to work in. It's really not as bad as it sounds...In my spare time I'm a Deputy for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. I don't know which is more fun..lol.  I was married for sixteen years and have two great young adults a handsome son Joshua (16) and a beautiful daughter Kirsten (14) going on (25). I think some of you know what I mean.

Our family loves the beach.  We have been to quite a few U.S. beaches through the years.  Our favorite was Destin, FL.  The last seven years, I have been the adult support for my children's school and church activities.  My son is an Eagle Scout and marched in the high school band.  My daughter is pursuing her Gold Award for Girl Scouts and sang in the high school choir.  Both of my children were active members of our church youth choir.  On my own, I have taken a 34 week Bible study for each of the past two years.  Sorry I can't come to the reunion.  I will be on a youth choir tour with my daughter. We formed a little town out here in Cresson, TX (~14mls SW of I-20 Benbrook/Ft Worth on Hwy 377) to prevent Ft Worth annexation and make laws so a man can overhaul his car in his yard if he needs too without getting a citation, haha, but if you leave junk in the yard too long, well......we provide huge dumpsters twice a year which works very well to get folks to voluntarily clean up their yards, etc. Wound up on City Council and I serve on my little Bluebonnet Hills Water Board too. Everyone should do this, since this idiot can. It will surprise you how easy it is.

www.motorsportranch.com is our biggest attraction in Cresson. None of that sissy stuff like golf at this country club, haha, but my son has got me out driving balls at shooting ranges. So this former anti-golf advocate is changing his mind a little, haha.

First off, great website. It was weird but great seeing everyone's old annual pictures. OBTW, I received the reunion info from Tom Bandler. I retired from the US Air Force after 26+ years of service. I entered the USAF in 1975 after graduating from Texas A&M and got out after 4 years to become an Air Traffic Controller at the Ft Worth Air Route Traffic Control Center. Interestingly enough, I attended the 10th reunion after I had just been fired as an Air Traffic Controller as a result of the PATCO strike, Aug 1981. I joined Dallas Power & Light (where I met my current wife, Sissy from Pittsburgh, PA) for a short period of time and returned to active duty Aug 1983. I was a crew member aboard AWACS (Tinker AFB, OK) and JSTARS (Robins AFB, GA) for over 20 years (where I received my callsign of Hollywood). I retired as a Colonel and my last duty assignment was as the Vice Commander, 116 Air Control Wing, Robins AFB, GA. After moving every 2 years for the last 15 years we've set our roots here in Warner Robins, GA, which is 1.5 hours south of Atlanta. We have 2 sons, Kellyn (18) and Dallas (15). Kellyn will begin his freshman year at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA, and Dallas will be a sophomore at Houston County HS. I retired Dec 2005 and as you can see have joined Northrop Grumman as a Program Manager for JSTARS. My home address is:

I am married to Vicki Cunningham, 25 years now, we live in Amarillo, our son attends TX Tech and our daughter is a Junior in High School. I retired from the Army in 1997 after 21 years. I work for the TX Tech University Health Sciences Center, Vicki works at the Veterans Hospital. We still have family in Dallas and usually visit during the holidays. It is always interesting to drive by the school, brings back a lot of memories. I'll always remember the great friends that I had in band, Mr. Rumbley, and believe it or not Ms. Paschall, Algebra, she left a lifelong impression on me.

I did a lot of traveling with my job, until I had my family, I gave up a wonderful job to raise my kids (3), which I felt the the utmost important job in the world, and something that I will always treasure. I taught aerobics while they were young and to keep my sanity. I worked part/time until my divorce, then I had to go back to work full time. I am still Single and many times the kids and I struggle...we have been down a very rough road and I have found that inner strength, faith and my children have been the key to getting past a horrible and nasty divorce that was uncalled for!!!  Anyway, I have tried my best to move on  and as I am about the embark upon my BIG 50....birthday.  I would like very much to meet a special someone to spend time with. I don't know if I will ever tie the knot again per say, but I do not want to grow old all alone when my kids are grown.  I was at the 10, and 20 year Carter Reunion. My ex-husband was at the 20yr with me (at the time we were married and very happy). You just never know how things are going to turn out! Maintaining/remodeling/fixing up a house, 3 outbuildings, and yard on a heavily wooded 1 acre lot outside of Boerne Texas (north of San Antonio on IH-10).  Single-handedly remodeled kitchen, remodeled garage/workshop, and built a 16' x 28' utility building.  Still have to remodel a 20' x 25' building to look like an old fashioned country train station.

Ed and I just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary this summer, plus the 5 years we dated, makes 31 years. It just doesn't seem possible. We have 2 sons, Brian (21) and Keith (17). Brian is a Sr. at Baylor working toward Pre-Dentistry. Keith is a Sr. in high school and very active in every sport, as well as the band and art. I'm a soccer, football, basketball, track, baseball, cross country and bleacher mom.  We live in Rowlett, TX near Lake Ray Hubbard. I am the librarian at a middle school in Mesquite. [The library is not a quiet place anymore!] Last year I taught over 500 classes and served over 17,000 students. Ed is working at Transport Industries in the HR department.  It has been fun working on this reunion.  The web site is truly awesome and has delighted many of our classmates walking down memory lane.  I'm excited that so many are coming and that it's only a few days away. Hope to see everyone at next year's reunion.
